Michael Roberto: New Board President

Hello from the new Board President of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Seattle! My name is Michael Roberto and I graduated from LSA in 2009 with a degree in Chemistry and came to Seattle to pursue my graduate studies. I, like many of you, fell in love with this city and my family has made it our home. I’d been Vice President for a couple years prior, working with our club’s President ex officio, Herb Bowie, who deserves thanks for his years of service as President of this club.

We’ve got a lot of new faces on the board this year, and we recently wrapped up our annual retreat generating some fresh ideas for events, activities, and projects. I think you’ll be happy with the coming year’s breadth of events! We’ll keep working to make sure this club is the best it can be for all of our members, and I’d like to thank all of the board members for volunteering their time to making this happen.

If you have questions about the club, or suggestions for future events, feel free to drop me a note at mroberto@umseattle.org
